Gran Via is an urban thoroughfare composed of a series of wide streets and avenues that surround the center of Alicante (Spain), and that connect with the main entrance roads to the city: the avenue of Denia (north entrance), the avenue of the University (entrance from San Vic Raspeig), the Alicante Highway (A-31) and the avenue of Elche (south entrance). The streets and avenues that make up the Gran Via total 6.4 km in length. Avenida Juan Sanchís Candela, runs through the Garbinet neighborhood, starts at the roundabout of intersection with Alonso Cano street and ends in the Plaza Alcalde Agatángelo Soler, which is located at the intersection of Calles Bellea del Foc, Jacinto Masanet and the sections of the Gran Via called Juan Sanchis Candela and Painter Xavier Soler. Inside, in the roundabout, is the monument called Millennium Gate. The Avenida Pintor Xavier Soler, runs between the neighborhoods of Garbinet and Vistahermosa, begins in the Plaza Alcalde Agatángelo Soler and ends at Avenida de Denia in front of the Jesuit College.
How to get there, in Car: from the road of Valencia, Avda. de Denia, Via Parque, La Gan Vía, and from Exit 6 from the A-7 Mediterranean Highway. By Bus: Three lines connect the city center directly with the Gran Via Shopping Center: 10, 11 and 11H, and also have a stop less than 5 minutes walk to lines 1, 6 and 9. By Taxi: In front of the entrance of the Shopping Center you will find a taxi rank.
